Kroger doubles all MF coupons $0.50 and below. They sometimes do BOGO sales, which means each items rings up as 50%. This again is just in GA. In FL, when its BOGO, you have to buy two since the first rings full price and second one free.
Often, they have Mega Buy events. This is where you buy X number of qualifying items to get $X.xx taken off the total bill at the end. One I see often is buy 10, get $5.00. Another words, get an additional $0.50 each item if you buy in sets of 10 qualifying items.

Kroger will take Kroger coupons and MF coupons. They do not take competitors, at least not the two locations near me anymore. This includes the one on the corner of Riverside and 120, and the one on Lawrenceville-Suwanee and N. Brown Road. Overage on MF coupons is allowed, though the policy is a bit more cloudy. It seems to change often, from manager to manager and cashier to cashier. I don't shop here enough to make a fuss with corporate, but I prob should.
Kroger has a loyalty card program. Be sure to get one whenever you are there. Most of their sale items will not ring up as on sale if you do not scan your card at the register. This will make a huge difference in the final price! Also, they will mail you coupons regularly if you have your mailing address on file.
Be sure to go online and sign up to track your loyalty card. Here there are printable coupons, sometimes there are samples, and also e-coupons. E coupons are ones that are linked to your loyalty card for a one time use only. These can be used in conjunction with MF coupon in the store. For example- one that I did recently.
Betty Crocker fruit snacks-
$0.50 E coupon
$0.40 MF coupon that doubled to $0.80
Total taken off the price - $1.30 for the first box.

There are 4 places you can find e-coupons. http://www.kroger.com/, http://www.cellfire.com/, http://www.pgesaver.com/, and http://www.shortcuts.com/. Just sign up and link your Kroger card and then you can add whichever coupons you want straight to your card.
And lastly, they have a program that for every $100 you spend in groceries per month, or for prescriptions filled, you get $0.10 per gallon when you fill up at their gas station. I almost never hit that, but its something to know if you do.
